I almost cried, because i wasn't sure whether to be sad or laugh.

Okay, now onto my thoughts on major events in the book. 

While reading this book, I got absorbed, like, really, absorbed. I could rarely put it down, and that was only because my teacher was mad, or I had to eat/GoodReads.

As for major events in this book, Frank. 

MAJOR badass in this one. I think he definitely deserves the blessing of Ares in the times that he gets it, and he also deserves the twenty second fat loss fitness routine that somehow just made him buff. (can I get one?)

Nico coming out with the G-bomb. this didn't catch me by surprise, because I had heard about it from a "friend" (friends don't let friends hear spoilers.) I think it was well done, and I have no problem with it, I just was a little sudden, with not a lot of buildup. It was like Rick Riordan was all 

BOOM! Gay. just like that. 

Tartarus. Tartarus was awesome,(Probably the first time that's been said.) all the old mythology, references to old books, and other goodies. I like the Nyx part, along with Titan Bob and Damasen, (After reading that part, I said hello to the stars. Did you?) I just thought that it was a really good thing to do, and it was well done, and then the battle with Tartarus... It was just really good. 

Now, one last thing to say, Leo and Calypso. Unofficial ship name, (My idea for the name) Caleo. Anyway, I think this needs to happen. They were so cute, the way she didn't like him at first, and then fell in love with him anyway... yeah. I loved it, and it made me happy, and I'm rambling, but it's good, and I loved it. 

All in all book thoughts, seventeen out of five stars, and I can't wait for the next book. 

(Can anyone send me a taco through the internet? I've got a hankering.)

Sometimes I see him as just another person, and sometimes I feel the sight of him in my gut, like a deep ache.

Wait, did she just say that Four looks like a bellyache? How poetic - what a sweet and endearing way to describe the love interest, no?

I've got it. This dude's new nickname is Bellyache. You can't stop me. Mwahahaha.

Sooooo, how do the visitors from other factions get down into the Pit? Do they have to jump off a roof, too?

Riiiiiight, because doing stupid, dangerous things for no reason and wasting ENTIRE LIVES just for reputation is a great  thing to do......I thought I heard something about the Dauntless guarding borders or something? Wouldn't it be smarter to be safe and train your people in a controlled environment, so that you don't wake up one morning and realize most of them are DEAD BECAUSE THEY SLIPPED FOR A SPLIT SECOND AND FELL OFF A RACING TRAIN???!!!

Ugh. I just.....whyyyyy does no one in these stupid books have the least bit of respect for human life?

And what's with this condescension toward the factionless? I don't know about these idiotic characters, but personally I would rather live in the slums somewhere AND BE MYSELF and BE ALLOWED A VARIETY OF PERSONALITY, than be stuck in some snotty holier-than-thou faction with no imagination. I mean, the kid who didn't make it onto the train, because he was too slow to jump? What if he was the bravest Dauntless ever, but he was just overweight or skin and bones, or he'd been ill recently, or he had a slight limp in one leg? Hmm? What then? Nothing about being "brave" says you have to be in peak physical condition all the time, and by the way, that kid wasn't told that there was any "initiation" or that he'd be instantly considered factionless just for tripping over an untied shoelace and missing his train.

Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

I don't know why I do this to myself. I knew this book was probably going to be bad, but good grief, I didn't think it would be this brainless......

Well, recently (As in like, an hour ago) I saw Catching Fire. 

Now, if you don't know what the movie is, a) You either don't go on Youtube, or you don't have internet, in which case you won't be reading this post, making this entire sentence moot. (why am I writing it?)

back to the movie. 

At first, going in, I was skeptical. I wasn't sure what to think, because I was so unsatisfied with the way the other movie had been done. I had numerous problems with it, like the shaky cam every five seconds, the toned down violence, and a couple other things I won't get into because I'm not talking about the Hunger Games, I'm talking about Catching Fire. (Stay on track, Stay on track....)

I was not disappointed in the slightest. I thought that it was amazing. The score was good, and it suited the movie well, the movie had lines quoted from the book, and there was the Cinna beatdown, which was a part of the book I liked quite a lot. Not because I disliked Cinna, just because that's what would really happen in that kind of situation, and it was good, and blah blah blah you get the point. 

the ending was perfect, and they had the whole

"You mean we're not in twelve?"

"Katniss, there is no District Twelve."

conversation, and I loved it, and now I'm freaking out because it was amazing... and yeah. 

All in all, I was satisfied, and now I'm going to stop typing because if I don't i'll derail into a series of asdfgjl;kjl;askjgowiehgoiwedhg-ing and not being able to even.
